Citizenship and Social Development Online Reading Award Scheme 2023/24 aims to encourage senior secondary students to learn CS through reading, so as to enrich their knowledge, broaden their horizons, enhance students’ interest in learning the subject, create a reading culture on campus and enhance students’ self-directed learning.
Held by the Education Bureau and co-organised by the Academy of Chinese Studies, the competition aims to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese history and culture, and cultivate a vibrant learning atmosphere to enhance their learning interest. It is now open for all Primary four to six students. (Chi only)

The Chinese unicorn (qilin) is a creature in Chinese legend and is known as “the beast of benevolence”. It is one of the “four spirits” with the phoenix, the turtle, and the dragon. The celebratory unicorn dance is even an intangible cultural heritage in Hong Kong. (Chi only)

The Chinese nation has a history going back thousands of years, and during that time the ethnic groups in the Central Plain and along the borders existed side-by-side, generation after generation: they lived together, merged, separated, re-grouped, separated again, and re-grouped again.
